Twinn Ethyr Briar Prastiti

An immersive and captivating musical experience that transcends conventions and ignites the imagination. A collection of guitar and vocal songs written by Briar Prastiti under the alias of Twinn Ethyr, accompanied by special
arrangements by James Wylie (Thessaloniki, Greece), and Moth Quartet (Wellington, New Zealand).

Briar draws on folkloric, melancholy and ethereal themes in her guitar playing and lyric content. Many of these songs are deeply personal, using narrative as a way of making sense of  emotions and experiences over the years. Similar to the way that folklore uses storytelling and symbolism to teach us life lessons, Twinn Ethyr uses emotive harmony and poetic
imagery to give strong impressions that lend to a freedom of
interpretation. Haunting melodies weaving through soft finger picking guitar transport the listener to an unearthly place. Their lyrics are pure poetry that come from the subconscious and are often take the listener through a symbolic, folkloric, and emotional journey.
