Twinn Ethyr

An immersive and captivating musical experience that transcends conventions and ignites the imagination. Briar a.k.a Twinn Ethyr draws on folkloric, melancholy and ethereal themes in her guitar playing and lyric content. Many of these songs are deeply personal, using narrative as a way of making sense of  emotions and experiences over the years. Similar to the way that folklore uses storytelling and symbolism to teach us life lessons, Twinn Ethyr uses emotive harmony and poetic imagery to give strong impressions that lend to a freedom of interpretation. Haunting melodies weaving through soft finger picking guitar transport the listener to an unearthly place. Her lyrics are pure poetry that come from the subconscious and are often take the listener through a symbolic, folkloric, and emotional journey.
